I Not Stupid was better than expected. Jack's undeniably a comedian, and more importantly someone with something to say, albeit some parts which were a little preachy-like. fave scene was the creative director's proposal for advertising Ba Gua. Production values seemed to have improved too, except for the exterior scenes. is it something about the light in our region that makes our exteriors so hard to light? His script and directing is still a little raw, over-the-top tv style, it'll take a couple more films for him to refine his style and find the right groove. hope it does well at the B.O. tho'... at least then we have some hope for a film industry-to-be to come into existence. the kid actors were really good, we need more fresh talent like them! hope they don't end up in the mediacorp slime factory and become living puppets of theirs.

Strange - lately people from my past have been appearing in my life. Received email from L. from Penn State the other day, saw D. from Liang Po Po, then today, saw Lixia, also PSU, from the bus, and saw M. and S. from AJ on the way home. bizarre huh. god, i hope i don't run into teresa or winie... yikes.

being positive, movies, coincidences
