winter blues
Back in Tokyo after 6 weeks in Singapore, and even though it seems like it's been a pretty mild winter so far, it's cold at night so the first thing I did was go get myself an electric blanket, so that I can be lightly roasted while I sleep :) Heaven. But I don't know if I saw correctly - snow on Friday!?!!? nooooooo. I may have been a traumatised polar bear in a past life - winter makes me want to just hide in bed and sleep for a few months. It's gonna be hard getting out of bed!
Surprisingly, so far the train station doesn't feel *that* far (12 minutes compared to 2 back home), but perhaps it's because I wasn't in heels. Looking forward to catching up with my friends here, but yesterday I realised I didn't really miss anything - not even food cravings so naturally ended up at my favourite coffee chain in Nakameguro. Ok, I have to get going to start running errands. boohooo holiday's over and I miss everyone back home already.
p.s. and for those who love the veggie I love to hate... I only saw the words "downright unappetizing." ^^
