manual & retail therapy
today must have been the first time in days i've not kept checking my email all day. v. bad habit left over from working in e9 and other unmentionables... spent the whole day swopping out things from my laptop - good bye!! :'( - to my bro's desktop that I'm taking over. and inevitably i deleted some things accidentally. blardy hell. i just hope i won't be needing them. between that and the manual labour of cleaning my room, arranging things, filing.. blah blah blah.. it's been a speedy gonzales day...
and after pondering for months, i finally caved and went to get me a Palm Zire71. sigh. it's beautiful. i'm on the verge of naming it. it might be the closest i ever get to having a baby. oh no, wait, that'll be when i get a kitten & a puppy. but i still want to name it.. hm. ideas?

dear yet-to-be-named pda, i promise that you can hang around for at least two years and you will not function merely as a very expensive and hi-tech alarm clock.

well, my excuse for getting it is so that i won't be getting an expensive digital camera that's gonna end up collecting dust. see. saved $499 right off there. it also means i get to torture you guys with grainy poorly taken act-cute photos. the question now, is where to upload them to? and i was thinking i shld go walk/jog more and will be more motivated with this little thing so saved at leaset another $200 there. and you have no idea the relief/happiness i felt when i saw the thing syncing up my addresses and phone numbers. my life might actually start getting easier and i can concentrate on more important things... and i get to do my obsessive list-making anytime, anywhere and i won't lose another stupid scrap of paper. my $6 million dollar ideas, you know. :P
with this, i could possibly become an extremely organised person. and also will definitely strike lottery next week.
