Thoughts about Adam.
Spoilers for most recent aired ep.
I look around and see a lot of the same thoughts, reactions, questions to the episode I have. I love that. But...
But what about Adam dying?
I'm not talking about why Dean burned him, or how that didn't really make sense. But why kill him off? Is this the writers worring about what the fandom would think if they kept him alive? I'm thinking any thoughts like that would be in the spoilers, and I don't read those -so? I don't know.
Personally I would have liked to see Adam live. And just to be straight about this I am NOT talking about wanting a Winchester trio of hunters riding around in the impala. No. I'm talking about the possibility of more angst. Iam an angst whore. I admit it. And yes, I know, like there isn't enough on the show already.
We got to see a quick little spat on how differently Sam and Dean would/did treat Adam. I think if he lived that rift between them would build even more, showing just another way on how the brothers have changed. On how they barely recognize the other anymore. You know what I mean?
I would have liked Dean to have found Adam barely alive, unconscious in that tomb. And lets say, dropping him at the hospital on his way to save Sam. Adam would live and the boys would be faced with the decision like John was on what to do with him. Adam still wouldn't know he had brothers. I would like to have seen that play out, and how it would be another thing they carried around on their shoulders.
I wouldn't really want to see Adam again. I think I just like the possibility of him being out there.
