I'm leaving you.
It's not because you messed with people's links to make money. It's not because your maintenance schedule is wacky and makes updating an annoyance at times. It's not because you spam my friends filter and my email with inane updates about goats.
Lots of people like goats.
The plain truth, Livejournal, is that I got tired of paying you hard-earned money to know what my friends are thinking. And, once I downgraded my account, I got tired of being forced to sit through advertisements to know what my friends are thinking. I understand that you're a business. Unfortunately, I'm a cheapskate.
(For anyone who's interested, I can be found over at Wordpress [kalevingston.wordpress.com]. There's no handy "friends" page but there is a nice RSS feed for anyone who wants it.)
