The chorus, now known as Sound Mosaic, is pretty much on its last thread. We have to have 30 dues-paying members to pay the bills, and 20 came to first rehearsal. It's been a long, slow decline, but unless we can find more singers and/or steady income within a month, it'll dissolve. Sad.

Looks like it's official. The chorus will be performing two of my songs (1, 2) at our January concerts.

The chorus went to Olympia last weekend to perform - I played chaffeur and groupie. Before the show, we met at the director's mother's house, which is right up against a bend in Puget Sound that's a shallow tide pool. After years of being a 36 waist, and another year or so of denial, I'm now a 38.
