(no subject)
So we're in the middle of this crazy heat wave, here in Victoria. Well... crazy for us. Out by my house there were reports of temperatures from everywhere between 35 and 45 degrees. And I'm sure this means absolutely nothing to anyone who is American. I heard someone say it was over 100 degrees... I don't know what that means, and it was just before noon. I was at work which was lovely and air conditioned. I am now at home which is NOT air conditioned, wishing that I had been called in to work for my 'on call' today.
I suppose I should enjoy the heat while I can... but I've never really liked summer anyway. I just want it to be time for school again so i can buy my fabulous fall boots and sweaters and jackets.
Not much of an update... I'm pretty much just complaining about the heat.
