100 books in a year

It seems like an interesting concept. I want to read 100 books in one year. I would be almost 4 days to read an entire book. Easy for some, harder for others. In my life, I have read many books. I have Re-Read hundreds of them. There are some books I can't live without and others that I can't seem to get into but read anyway ( Read more... )

The War of the Worlds, Great Expectations (Dickens), Lord of the Flies, The Odyssey- some of my favorite classics.

Good luck to you on your goal!! I admire you and envy you for embarking on this quest.

Oh the reason I've read three out of the four listed is because my senior year, my teacher let me read whatever books I wanted off her bookshelf because I had already read everything we were reading in class. (I had to take three lit classes because of switching schools)

I also read Red Azelea in that class. <3

I simply DEVOUR books. I can't read enough it seems sometimes.

Oh, and Ebay penny book sales. You'll still pay $2 for media mail shipping, but $2.01 for a big hardcover book isn't bad at all.

Thanks for the tip. I will have to check that out when we decide to start buying, for now, Chris is going to let me use his library card since I still have an illinois license.

BTW:

I knew you would be the first to reply!

Some memoirs by Augusten Burroughs all of them I plowed through in about a day 2 days tops. He also wrote a fiction book called Sellivision.

A biography on Frida Kahlo I read in a day I mean because its Frida, she reminds me of you in a lot of ways.

Catch 22

I'll post some others later.
