cats go to heaven, too, don't they?
this morning my 11-year old kitty died. she was absolutely the best cat ever.
we took her to the vet yesterday because she wasn't able to hold up her own weight, she wasn't eating, she wasn't drinking anything. it turns out she had a severe kidney infection. this infection was made about a million times worse because she also had feline diabetes. the vet gave her a whole bunch of fluid to try to rehydrate her, and a big dose of antibiotics. we came home and set her up with blankets to try to keep her warm and comfortable.
none of us had a good night.
