In my mind I can see almost every one of the photos I lost. All those memories that were invested in that goddamned cursed 1gig memory card. I should never have bought it. I tried to intervene- "Oh, I'll buy more memory this time"; Fate didn't approve; my camera was stolen

the greatest thing is that the awesome moments *do* continue to happen. no matter what, wherever you are, whatever you're doing etc.

and even sometimes when horrible, shitty things happen, it's possible to look at them and see the glory in the fact that this thing... that happened... is a still *thing* that *happened*.
