Offered: Japanese Care Package
I will send the winner (or a person the winner designates) a care package from Japanese shops in Los Angeles! The products will all be Japanese, but if the winning bidder is in America, they will not have to worry about customs restrictions. I live near several Japanese neighborhoods (featuring Tomato Bank and numerous bubble tea houses), and believe me, the shops have some seriously interesting stuff.
Contents will be partially determined by the amount of the winning bid: the higher it is, the more stuff you'll get and the more high-quality some of it will be. You can also warn me if you have any allergies or dislikes.
The box will contain:
--Lots and lots of non-perishable interesting food items.
--Pocky.
--At least one of the absolutely ridiculously cute items which Japan does so well.
--At least one anime-related item.
--At least one genuinely elegant thing.
--At least one thing that I don't even know what it is.
Depending on the amount of the high bid and what I can scrounge up, the box may contain:
--Some handy item which will fulfill a need I bet you never knew you had.
--A mystery box of hyper-detailed miniature plastic Japanese food.
--Strange manga in Japanese. ("Jesus, the deadly machine of snipe!")
--Something labeled with an amusing computer-translated slogan.
--A Gundam.
--And more! Limited only by my time and imagination!
