don't think it's illegal, just a mistake. at least, that's what they could claim but maybe check out the data protection act rules, because it's in violation of that, that's for sure. as they're not confirming where they're sending any personal data.
I'd think it was a mistake if it was once, but as it's happened more than once, it's a bit of a stupid mistake to make! Especially as there's no way he could have got the email address wrong! If he had just copy and pasted it or READ what I wrote, there wouldn't have been a problem!
And he gets everything wrong, I think he has a problem! He can never spell my website name right, and I've got a new website now and he even gets that one wrong!
can't do much with idiots im afraid :( i know the feeling from arguing with ntl people about the simple concept that i can't have a phone by my pc.
i think look up data protection act on the net, and email them and say, look your in violation. you're sending my details, and that of customers, to the wrong email. this could lead to id theft etc. fix it or else i will have to get some sort of legal advice or leave your services and then look around and leave their services! cos it could get bad if someone has their id stolen because of your website, even tho it was their fault.
