I'm playing at a Mumia Abu-Jamal benefit tonight in SF

Jonathan Richman (new friend and amazing artist) is putting together a benefit tonight for Mumia Abu-Jamal, and he invited me to come sing a tune. There will be tons of other artists & speakers there, and it's an issue worth looking at (Mumia's case in particular, but the capital punishment issue overall). Should be a nice night, happy to be a part of it. It's tonight, Sunday Sep17, at Great American Music Hall on O'Farrell. Doors at 7, I'm on at 8ish, but the night will go on well after that. Meanwhile, I'll come home to pack for Australia(!), but that's for another post.
