Yesterday was perfect. I made a pot of tea and laid in bed for two hours, writing, and then reading journal entries from the '90s. They're funny if you don't take them seriously, and sad if you do.
Melanie kidnapped me and took me on a an adventure in downtown Westfield, which is a very cute neighborhood. Got flatbread sandwiches and hummus, and caught up on life. Went to a new-agey store to talk about zodiac signs, the moon and karma. Melanie won me a bracelet to keep the evil eye away.
Found the two thrift stores in town, and had amazing luck--I got a pair of gray boots and a pair of flats for $3 each. Also got $2 earrings at Funk and Standard.
Good deals aside, we just had fun talking to the kind, interesting people in town and enjoyed the warm weather (we didn't need coats!)
Home for a bit, cleaned up my secondhand finds. Then Rob, Caitlin, Abby, Marissa and I got sushi and dranks, then Jamba Jews, then desserts and coffee in the kitchen. All sorts of things were said, in front of the mayor no less.
I ended the day in Aberdeen stalking Megan at Rocky Horror. Updated one another on our lives, and yelled obscene things at the on-screen Brad and Janet.
Came home and hung out with the bros until 3:30 a.m. Everything is as it should be.
