Today was great. Not, that being able to tie up loose ends in a few of my classes wasn't a high point, but the mini-carnival the Marianopolis Student Union put together for us at Activity Period definitely stole the show. They had cotton candy and SnoCones, plus an inflatable basketball thingamajig. I even managed to avoid a sunburn too.
Thursday isn't typically a late night for me, but I figured I'd indulge myself. Grabbing dinner with Elyse at Boccachinos, followed by the sneak preview of Mission: Impossible III was exactly what I needed. On the ride home from Île-Bizard tonight, making sure the windows were sealed and no one could hear, I attempted to sing along to Dizzy Up the Girl.
With regards to the void that is my job experience, I was going to start filling out the online job interview form for a position at Moozoo in the Old Port, but I think I should hold off for a bit. If they try to contact me when I'm out of town, it won't bode well with the management, plus they threw me a curveball: "If a client drops his order on the floor, what would you do?" If all goes well, I'll be wearing a neon orange bandana and t-shirt in no time.
Speaking of clothing, my Cornell stuff arrived today by snail mail. I didn't like any of the sweatshirts they had advertized, so I ordered two shirts and a baseball cap. The unfortunate thing is, though, that I like my UPenn one much better.
