i finally got to see "the man who wasn't there" last night ... i've been meaning to see it since i had the pleasure of enjoying "oh brother where art thou" and the Coen brother's did not disappoint. quality stuff ... and i've become 100% convinced about dvd viewing. but the whole package just makes it.
another long morning at the russian embassy but we finally got our visas. tomorrow week we're off so it's getting close enough. saw philip quinn (irish indo football journo, works with me but probably doesn't know it) in the queue. he must be being sent over to cover it. at least he won't have to pay for it.
the rain's put a end to our football plans for tonight. but the change of plans includes Liverpool v Blackburn on the box down in Holland's for change.
kevin's gone back to sea, this morning after only returning 2 weeks ago. but brian's dad got him a month on a coastal based ship. he only needs four weeks to finish his 12 months sea time so he'll be back before we know it.
i ran into the dreaded doctor friend of my dads yesterday. well he's not dreaded but he's looking for me to update his website for him. add a few pages i think. but i'll suggest that i do a new one for scratch, his old one's fairly naff, free of charge of course. family friend and all. but then i can include it as part of my portfolio stuff.
