-1- manage a quick visit down to waterford over the weekend. only for saturday night, had to work friday night & sunday. but wouldn't have missed saturday night. my mum and dad ... the whole clan in fact ... were going out for diner for my birthday ( it just keeps going on and on, i will not complain).
and some of our best family friends came out with us .... they were down with my mum for the weekn... and the grandmother came out. so it was a great gathering..... champagne & wine and one of the (if not "the") nicest restaurants i've ever been in. in Dungarvan of all places. it would be more at place in Temple Bar (dublin). meal was super and a great night. i think my birthday might be coming to end though now. but moscow to look forward to thursday week.
-2- unrelated issue: mixed signals ... oh i know i said myself and jen left things on good terms ... when i've met up with her we've been getting on great considering ... but it is still quite weird to automatically change you're relationship with someone so dramatically.
i haven't been in touch with her outside of my birthday thing last week. but on friday she txted me and asked if i wanted to call round to watch a video before i went to work. so i called around ... although was wondering if this whole pathway might be the wrong way forward ... but it was fine. although i'm not sure but i got the sense that she's purposely keeping a distance. so went to work ... put it out of my mind and got on with it.
and just checked my mail to find that she's just emailed me (which she never did very often at any time) just to say hey ... just seems a little weird. she's probably making more of an effort to keep in touch with me now than before we ended. probably because i havn't made much of a effort in the last few weeks ... for obvious reasons.
i think she misses me more than she misses us. while i miss us more than i miss her (although i miss both quite a lot, just to clarify).... if you can figure out whatever i'm trying to say.
me = bed. sick with tiredness ... but must get up early to sort out this new video camera thing. Sony's PC101 seems to be our man.
