Here is an article that appeared in the Vindicator today;

Unruly behavior by attendees forced one theater to close.

BOARDMAN - A 13-year-old girl was charged with assaulting two police officers, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after police were called to disperse a large crowd outside of a movie theater.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, police were called to Cinemark Movies 8 in the Shops at Boardman Park on a report of more than 100 juveniles gathered in front of the business.

The group had been removed from the theater for rowdy behavior, a police report said.

A whole theater had to be shut down because of disruptive behavior of some of the people inside, police were told.

When police arrived, several juvenile females were screaming at one another, with other people gathered around them.

The 13-year-old girl, of West Midlothian Boulevard, Boardman, kicked a can of pepper spray from a police sergeant's grasp. The sergeant retrieved it and chased after her.

Both fell to the ground and the girl kicked, screamed and flailed as the officer tried to take her into custody, police said.

Second officer involved

According to reports, a second officer tried to assist in handcuffing the girl, and both men yelled for her to stop. The girl kicked one officer in the legs and ankles several times before she was handcuffed.

A third officer and a Mahoning County deputy sheriff who was working security at the theater held the crowd back as it tried to close in on the officers, reports show.

The girl then kicked one officer in the groin before police were able to get her into the rear of the cruiser.

The girl's 15-year-old sister started yelling and screaming and refused to stop when police told her to. She was charged with disorderly conduct.

Both girls were released to a family member.

Well, what can I say. This is what I get to deal with every Saturday night. Hopefully the only good this bad press will do for my Movies 8 crew will get the buzz in our CEO, Jeff Stone's ear and enforce a 17 and under policy which will helpfully get rid of these kids. On Friday and Saturday anyone under 17 will need to be in the prescence of a parent after 6PM. I hope this gets passed so badly and very soon. Just thought you might like to know what I do at my job.

*let's out a big sigh*
