Popping out as a naked pod-person with no memories, journals turning into grotesque little creatures... and while I appreciate the sudden and unexpected upgrade in the style of my clothing this morning, I do wish the ( Read more... )

There should be an employment posting around in the Marketplace somewhere. If you have any interest in healing or helping people in that way, I'd suggest you come down to the Medical Island. We could always use more hands down there.

It's a thought. The medical profession doesn't strike me ask something I'm too familiar with, but if you don't mind beginners it might be worth considering.

I'm a beginner, too. They'll hire you as an Intern and you'll have to do all the grunt work until you learn your way up to a Junior Medic, but I enjoy the work. If you find something that strikes you, though, I'd go that way. As much as we need the help, you know yourself better than we do.

Well, I'll see how it goes.

It sounds like you're kind of shorthanded, though, from the way you talk. Do they take on part-timers? It might be a good idea to learn some of the basics and help with the grunt work when necessary.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure they do, yeah. I know most other jobs take part-timers, at any rate. If so, hopefully I'll see you around.

I'll keep an eye out for you if I do so. What was your name, again?

I'm Roswell. I'd ask what your name was again, too, but you signed it. I get the easy way out, Gene.

Like I said, I'm always around to help. Just get a hold of me if you ever need anything.

Indeed, it does seem like you have the advantage over me. But at least we're on equal footing, now.

Will do.
