I had a long and complicated dream just now.
I was back in Bloomington, and I had to go to various things, because I knew I wouldn't be back for very long. I remember getting a call from someone tangentially related to James, and her asking me if I could show up at his house at midnight. Ir fit, somehow, perfectly into my plan.
I think my plan at this point involved a great deal of driving already. I was going a ways out of town to see this play Sao was in, which was some sort of work-related thing. When I got there, I ended up spending a while wandering about this large Wal-Mart-like building with a shopping cart, killing time. I got interrogated by this lady who was apparently Sao's boss, who wanted to know what I was doing, and I had to explain that my friend was in a play here and I was waiting to see it.
When I got in to see the play, my parents were there, and they were sitting in different rows. I wanted to sit near them, but there was no room, so I got a seat elsewhere and saved a seat for Sao (because apparently she wasn't actually in the play? I dunno.). She showed up at some point. Then there was a random scene where I was on a bus and I found this note she left me on green paper, which was a bunch of Lithi waxing poetic about true love (I know, right?) with a big boldfaced note about how she was "Ohgod turning into you" or something. It was strange.
Anyway, I think we hung out a while? Then I started panicking about how I was going to get to James' house by midnight, because clearly I was still in Savannah and that's not even possible. By this point, my mom was driving me back to Bloomington from whatever place in Indiana we'd been in. I'm not sure what happened to my dad or my car, but my sister was there instead I guess. We stopped on the side of the highway and I got out of the car, all freaking out, like, "How did I get here? How did I get here? I was in Savannah and now I'm here! What's going on?" And she had her sad-and-worried-mother-face on and was saying, "We drove you here from Savannah. It took four days." And then I was asking when this happened, and she said, "A few days ago," and I was freaking out about how I was going to get to class the next day, and then I woke up.
It was weird, but kind of nice.
