What do I care....
Now, that I am back in IB, I shall rant periodically about the injustices of my life. Number one, it's good to back in IB.Number two, my sketches are getting better( I suppose it would, being torn between life choices and lots of Linkin Park WOULD inspire...). Number three, IB sucks.
Why? Why I am tormented so? Damn you Spruce Creek for having that infernal IB program! Why can't you just have Ap and Honors like everyone else? Then I wouldn't have to go through hell and high water to get through the "Best Years of Life." Ha! Don't make me laugh! My sister, (who also went through IB) is in her second year of college, and still says it is easier than IB!
LiuBei....why don't drop out? You DON'T have to be in IB. No one's forcing you. I know. I did drop out. But I climbed back up. Why? Because I'm a very,very,very stupid man. That's why. And! Because the wretched program creates a filter, or hierarchy of sorts. Let me explain. First, you have IB, the cream of the crop, the fun kids, they get jokes and joke around. They can discuss issues seriously, and also be witty. These are my people. They are in IB.
Then we move to Ap and honors. These people are either former IB students, still capable of conversation and wit, or your average joe, who laughs when you say Lake Titicaca (okay, IB kids laugh at it too...hahaha...). Unfortunately, this is more like Regular ed at most other schools, due to Satan's IB program.
Alas, we move to regular ed. They are burnouts, bums, or (I hate to say it) blacks. Now, I'm no racist, I was born up in the Yankee north, and I've known some very great black people, but there are almost no blacks in Honors and up? Why? Because blacks can get into college with ease with just a regular diploma. Don't get me wrong, I blame the system,not the people (If I was black, I sure hell wouldn't bust my butt for no reason.)
To sum up, I'm not in IB for "scholarly challenges" or the famed "IB diploma", I'm in it for the friends. What?! Madness! No, it's true, and ask anyone else in the program, they are in it for the same reason. I couldn't careless about that stupid IB diploma, as long as I get my Summa Cum Laude diploma, I'll be happy.
What DO I care about? I care about getting my license, increasing my artistic performance, getting Metal Gear Solid 3, and going to college, and making a billion dollars.
Yep.
