Hot Tea When I'm Feeling Cold (and Hot)

This morning I woke up feeling fine, but by the time I got to work, I was going downhill. I didn't eat a single thing for breakfast or lunch, and I decided to go home and get some sleep. I felt nauseous, and my body was aching all over. Plus, I was super sleepy. I grabbed some packets of melba toast in the café at the office before driving home. As soon as I got home, I crashed on my bed and slept for a few hours. I still have no appetite, but I had a few saltine crackers and hot tea.

Nothing is quite so soothing as a warm cuppa, especially when drinking it out of a cute cup and saucer set. :) I took my temperature earlier this evening and it turns out I have a fever - but I also have the chills. So I'm hot and cold at the same time. I am definitely staying home from work tomorrow so I can rest (and hopefully get some reading done). I've read nine books so far since January 1. I finished one about an hour ago, and I just started on another one. If I'm going to be lying down on the couch all day, I might as well be productive and check things off my reading list, right?
