(no subject)
hmm....I haven't updated in a while...and now I'm in a good mood so I figure I'd better update so it doesn't look like I'm always sad.
This weekend has been awesome. Just what I needed to pick up my mood and hopefully get me through the week.
Do you ever think or realize how situations you've been in, feelings you've had, or experiences you've gone through could really help someone else that's now in the same positions? There are just times where it's plain and in front of you. And while you help the person, you can also help yourself just cause you have some sense in your head for once...ok, I don't know where I was going with that, but just I think I helped myself while giving advice to someone else.
Homecoming was good. It was so stressful setting it all up, making sure the balloons were all ready, helping organize the half time and such, but it all turned out well.
I still don't really like dressing up all that much, but I got a lot of compliments, and that was fun.
After the dance Lauren, Mike, Matt, and me were supposed to go see the grudge, but we had to help and clean up cause we're on asb. We got to the movies at about 10:35 when our movie started at 10:30. Right as we got out of the car they announced that it was sold out. So we went to Jack in the Box and got food. I hadn't eaten in a while, and it was good. Their pumpkin pie shakes are really good. We had so many good laughs too. lol, I had to spit soda in the trash bag cause I knew I'd choke if I didn't get rid of it soon.
Then we went and rented Final Destination 2, cause none of us had seen it, and we all had watched the first one last weekend. So we watched that. It was gorier than the first one, but the first one was better.
Then Mike had to go home, Lauren fell asleep, and Matt and I talked till 3. Then he left and Lauren and I went to bed.
Skipped church this morning. Slept in to get rid of all the stress and such. Lauren was still sleeping, so I cleaned my room up. It's still not as clean as I'd like, but oh well.
Then we were in a baking mood. The packers game would be on later, so we invited Matt and Mike to come over.
Lauren and I made Cookie Monster cookies. They kinda turned out weird, but still good.
Then I curled my hair again...cause I wanted it curly. lol, it took a while, but it turned out better than last night...at least i think so.
We went to the movies to see the gruge. It was pretty scary. I actually jumped, and I hardly ever jump in movies. Wasn't the scariest thing, but I've sure freaked myself out a few times tonight while going downstairs and such. A photographic memory is no good after a scary movie. lol during the movie, my wrist hurt from grabbing onto matt's arm, and his arm hurt from being so tense and dug into. woops.
We came home, Mike took Lauren home, and Matt and I just hung out for a while.
Now I'm here, in a good mood, but scared to go to bed. My mind keeps freaking me out. blah! haha. creepy stuff...
