It has begun...
Noah left today. His grandparents thought they'd have to make two trips to get all his stuff but it only took one trip and he wanted to go with them today so I let him. I'm numb but ok....I think. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy but it had to be done. He'll be back for a short visit for me to say my final goodbyes on Wednesday because his grandma has an appointment of some sort up here.
I spent all day with the phone glued to my ear trying to find a no kill shelter for my baby girl (Maya, my dog) because nobody had heard from my son who is supposed to take her since Tues. and I knew that meant he'd gone to jail for not paying his fines. I was right, but his dad and grandma are working on getting him bailed out by tonight or tomorrow so hopefully she'll still be able to go live with him. Scott was as freaked out as I was about that one...we neither one wanted her caged up in a shelter without much human contact. She's not that kind of dog. She's not like ANY other dog...very unique breed.
