The marathon has started.  Fortunately, I think I was a little more prepared this time around.  However, despite my best efforts, I'm already behind.  I'm going to try to not let it get to me though.  I think I drove myself insane first year just trying to keep on top of everything, giving up my life, and thinking about how stressed out I was.  I ( Read more... )

BUNYA, haaaaa. I love your game idea! You gotta do something to make it through. And did you say working out? What exercise are you doing? Hopefully you're running again and then when you come back to AR we can run together!

Naw, not running. Lifting weights, mainly. Over the summer I did a lot on the elliptical at the gym, and hopefully I can find a good time to visit the workout center on campus to use that elliptical. Feels so much better on the knees/shins than running!

i hope this doesn't offend you, but you're the only catholic i've ever met that i felt like i could question (mostly respectfully, or at least always with that intent, whether i was successful or not in that endeavor is another story)... but i came across this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7581039.stm and was just wondering... is this even "allowed"? it offends me and i'm not catholic; like way to profane the sacred...

if and when you have time, i'd like your take. thank you. good luck this year. i started today and love it but already feel the pressure. i want a cat so badly but my landlord said no quite clearly...

Whatever...people will be people. I don't really feel strongly any way about it :P If the nuns are worried about what people think of them, it seems they may be in the wrong vocation...
