It sucked her in with an iron fist and clung to her life with a furious strength that she couldn't fight.
She had been weak and vulnerable; searching for answers. For help. For him.
Instead she found blackened horror and shadowed dangers that whipped her once sun kissed blonde hair into a tangled mess of wiry threads.
Her faith had been smothered and her heart had been crushed. Where there once had been a glow there was now only a silhouette.
In the end; it had been her choice. She'd chosen the darkness.
And now it was taking hold.
