So, much to my surprise one of my schools is open today so I will be making the perilous trek out later this afternoon. I am not looking forward to it, and I intend to take the trip at about 5 mph the whole way. That is, if I can get my car out of our condo complex, which remains to be seen. Still, after two days of being cooped up it will be nice to get out.
I have been spoiled rotten having Channing home for the past two days. This morning the house seems really empty and lonely. I wish I could say that the last couple of days were productive... I did write a couple of paragraphs on my new novel, but that's about it. Really I should have spent more time studying the Kurai Kotori system since I pretty much consider it the equivalent of college in my life. I wonder if actual college students did any studying... I also got a little bit of cooking and cleaning done, but most of that work was quickly undone by our hedonistic vegging. No, in all honesty, I spent my time relaxing and playing video games. I'm not sorry.
It is way too funny to me that I was concerned last week that this week would be stressful.
The only stress that remains is some last minute Christmas gift re-working. I was making presents in Jonin's shop for a couple of family members but now I don't think I will have time to finish them. So it looks like I will be doing some shopping tomorrow and Sunday. I really suck at the whole Christmas thing anyway. I'm all about Festivus if I had my way.
Anyway, time to go get ready to dig my car out.
