Ugh. I know there have been some comments lately about folks in your lives that are impossible to find gifts for. Sadly, the hardest person to shop for on my list is Robert. He gets whatever he wants and doesn't really understand impractical gifts. What's even worse is that his birthday and Christmas are four weeks apart. And you know what else is sucky? For Christmas, his family always exchanges lists on what they each want for Christmas and that's what they give each other. So there rarely is ever any sort of thought that goes into gift giving in his family. I always try to find something he never knew he always wanted which is really difficult. And one of his constant complaints about my gifts to him are the expense. For example, I was all set to purchase custom golf clubs this year and that would cover both Christmas and his birthday but a) I am really trying to stick to a better budget this year and b) his gifts are never that extravagant for me and I think it makes him uncomfortable.
So, with that in mind, I need HELP!
Here were the items I was thinking of, but nothing really stood out:
- Private golf lessons
- Meat slicer. Odd, right? But he has mentioned he wants one of these for quite some time. I just don't think he'll use it that often.
That's it. That's all I've thought of. I suck.
His hobbies include:
- Camping
- ATVing
- Wine drinking
- Cooking
- Building things
- Being a dad. :)
- Techi stuff
Anyone have any stellar products or things they've used with regard to the list above? Any stuff your hubbies love that they can't live without?
