I love Elon parents. I had one of my best shifts ever at work tonight...I came home with over $100. Ah, the things parents will do before they send their babies off to college.
I have settled into my apartment. I have the cable now...I even set up my own little entertainment center. It looks like my home, with my touches and pictures, and I love it. And at $400 a month, it's a steal. I have enough money to take care of almost all my bills till the end of the year. I can't believe it. I am coming into my own and I am taking care of myself. And granted, I'm not spending tons of money on movies and shit anymore. It feels good. Responsibility is empowering.
Sean bought me a diamond ring. Before you kids go nuts, it wasn't an engagement ring, but it's still very pretty, yet subtle. When I went to pick it up at the jewelry store, the saleslady went gaga over it. At first, I found the whole thing impractical, but after wearing it a few days, I've fallen in love with it. I guess us ladies are attracted to shiny objects on our fingers. It's my first piece of fancy jewelry from any guy, so that's exciting. I miss him so much, but I feel like we will be okay. I have great faith in our relationship. If we just surround ourselves with the things we love, the music, the acting, our friends, our jobs, the time will fly, I just know it.
Anyways, I am hitting the wall. I have ANOTHER double tomorrow. The Village is working me to pieces before I go back to school. I guess it's a good thing...gotta stash that cash.
