So. Maybe there was some fairly elaborate back story of my AU!Ziva that explains why she is like she is and why she sometimes has nightmares etc. Maybe that whole subplot was dropped out of this storyline because it didn't fit with the flow. So, holiday's over, and I reached... well, a partial goal. My summer epic is far from finished, but I just wrapped up chapter two (of five) with a total word count of 26,031. If it weren't so damn hot, I'd get drunk to celebrate. O_o
