Great review (or fangirl flailing lol), as always. You have again managed to put most of my thoughts into words.

I have to say, I didn't like Wendy. Or rather, I didn't like her until after the episode was over. I was over on facebook as soon as she got onscreen, saying she needed to go away and I hated her and a bunch of other stuff. I mentioned that I liked Fred because he stopped them from going too far. Eventually I started calming down some. By the end of the episode, especially when she and Tony have that final talk, I had stopped hating her as much. But after the episode I sort of had to talk myself down from the ledge of hatred, move onto acceptance, and then embrace her as another closet shipper, much like EJ ended up being. It gives me even more hope for Tony and Ziva.

Also, yes, Ray Wise was always going to be the bad guy lol!!! He's the bad guy in almost everything he's in. Actually, of everything I remember seeing him in, he's only been good in Psych, and that's partly because he plays a priest friend of Shawn and Gus.

I think that the thing I loved most about this episode is Ziva's very obvious jealousy and the fact that it seems to be getting harder in each episode for her to hide it from the rest of the team. We saw it some with EJ, but I think the most we've ever come close is when Tony was with Jeanne. And at first that wasn't jealousy so much as worried snooping, but then I think Ziva was jealous, especially after Jeanne was out of the picture. And now she's openly jealous again.

I think that just proves what you said about their emotions and Season 4. While I think their emotions now are more mature, it is the same...ability...as Season 4 to feel and express those emotions.
