procrastination 101
lesson 1. go to kaufland at 8pm. buy tub of ice cream. go home. eat tub of ice cream.
lesson 2. find other homework to do. reading books is easier.
lesson 3. morning of deadline. update livejournal.
isn't it good to know that even in a foreign country I can't write an essay for anything?! : )
so i'm writing a paper about the names of the holocaust (as in, how it is named...) which i must present to the class in an hour and a half. it's not very interesting, mainly because i only have to write a summary of this piece of text. hmm.
so this week i haven't done much as i have mainly been studying! actually and honestly. studying literature is difficult but ultimately rewarding, i've read some awesome texts from californians and african american women so if anyone is interested in a reading list let me know. for instance, my final paper for my california dream class - which was cancelled, but i now have as a consultation with the teacher so ultimately descends into conversation about punk rock and politics - is a comparison of kerouac and bukowski's responses to the californian environment. my bookshelf of new paperbacks looks ACE : )
big news - i will now be home on either april 5th/6th, hopefully in time for BCSU in leeds and then i will be travelling back on easter monday. please fire all requests for visits asap so i can formulate a detailed itinery! at the moment my calender looks like...

friday 7th - thee more swallows, the fenton
saturday 8th - milloy & the take, le pub
tuesday 11th - MY 21ST BIRTHDAY!! LATTERMAN!! LE PUB!!

i must go and print my work now but hopefully i will update some more after my classes : ) x x
