Exerpt From Fic: Harry looked over at Severus briefly, frowned, and then returned his gaze to Minerva for a few seconds, deciding what to say, and how to say it. He really shouldn’t be surprised that she seemed to know why he was here. Out of the corner of his eye, Harry saw concern showing in Severus’s eyes, and wished he could turn around and leave. This was not going to be easy, but there was nothing for it. He had no choice.
What I thought: Make me stop reading angst!fic, please! Yet another one I’ve read before, when it was first written. For some sick reason I have a weakness for cancer fics. I have no idea why, but my absolute favorite Snarry (which I have yet to rec here) is also a cancer fic and actually even more sad than this one. Somehow in less than ten-thousand words, I was reduced to a bawling mess of sobbing reader. I’m not sure there is much more to say about it. As for the pairings listed above, well, I could say just read the fic, but if you must know, Harry is married to Ron, but good friends with Severus and also in love with him. When Ron can’t handle the situation, Severus takes over.
