What I thought: This fic really moves away from the typical spin the bottle / I never plotline of “get drunk and screw.” Well, okay, that’s in here too, but it’s more than that. This kind of shows you how it came to be that a bunch of Slytherin and Gryffindor rivals could possibly come to be in the same room voluntarily without violence or bloodshed. It’s sexy and funny and sad and angsty and romantic, all in less then 7,000 words. I’ve read this one at least three times now because I am always so moved by the interaction between the characters.
