Exerpt From Fic: Harry gave him a small smile and leaned further into the friendly touch before starting to speak, "He can't make my life any worse than my family does, maybe it'll be better. I'm just sick of everything, of the abuse, of being a pawn, of everyone just wanting to know the famous Harry Potter and not just Harry. He just wants me, even if it is only to kill me, at least I know I'm more than a piece in a game. I don't want to die but this isn't living either and I want to."

"I just want to belong, I belong to him." Harry wasn't sure why or how he belonged to Voldemort but he did.
What I thought: While I did enjoy reading this, it had quite a few errors, either typing or “missing” words. The grammar itself was passable, but this story could really use a good beta’s eye. I have certainly read worse - the ones that make you hit the back button before your eyes start bleeding. Considering I read almost thirty-eight thousand words, there has to be something of worth here.
I don’t usually read Dark!Harry stories because, well, I don’t like it when the bad guys win! However, the premise sounded interesting enough so I gave it a go. I must admit that, if nothing else, the sex scenes were quite creative. Voldemort, in this fic, had his young body with the red eyes, so I was not forced to think of icky snake Voldemort getting it on (cuz, ewww). The relationship between Lucius and Harry was very much a loving one, as was the relationship between the three of them. It was clear that their primary goal was to protect Harry from suffering any more abuse as he had at his home.
The one thing I didn’t find as believable was how quickly Harry was willing to behave as a death eater - including being rather vicious in raids. I can see him wanting to be loved and protected and maybe going to the people that would provide it, but I still can’t see him mercilessly killing people who had done nothing to him or his family or friends.
Leaving that aspect aside, the relationships between Harry and Draco as best friends and the loving relationship between the main three was really refreshing and heart-warming. I guess you just have to focus on the parts that you like and ignore the rest!
Also, just a warning that the first chapter is actually a scene from the very end of the fic and then the second chapter starts at the beginning, with the rest of the story filling in the back-story of how it got to that point. I was confused at first and thought I’d clue you all in on that.
