(no subject)
well, were all you people doing Black Friday shopping today?
This is the first time I have had the day off in about 17 years but the closest I am getting to that is I had 1 day only coupons for gas and a free cup of coffee at the local Holiday Gas station. I already was out taking care of that when I got a newspaper this morning. Other then that- no way am I shopping in all those crowds. Besides I haven't got Christmas lists yet from my grandkids. Listened to someone at the gas station complain about the local Walmart. He had just come back from there. He did have a big t.v. in the truck bed but said awful things about the store and the clerks. Said no matter what he was not about to be kicked out so he did not argue too much but he was complaining about something I couldn't hear to someone else who was pumping gas as well. Today is a day to get a few things done around here that I just don't seem to get to after work at night.
I may venture out tomorrow morning and go to Menards. then might even stop at the office and drag out the Xmas totes and the tree. Could have done that Wed. but I didn't want the newest co-worker watching every move I made or offering "to Help". I have a system and it is easier to do it myself then to have someone try to assist me. I did get all of the Fall decorations down though. I destruct and the other Judy creates. At Xmas I put up the tree and get out all the totes and she figures out what she wants to do with the rest of the store and the windows. She always has a plan in her head of what and how so I let her do her thing. It always looks great.
