vacation day
It has been a nice vacation day off work. I still have 1 1/2 days left of leftover time to use though.
BUT,. I did not get my free massage after all. Julie Ann called me about 15 minutes before my appt. to say she just got back from the emergency room. Seems like she fell on the ice going into the building at work and ended up with a concussion and sore muscles from the fall. So she needed to cancel for today. She felt really bad because took the day off to do this. But she will call me tomorrow at work and we will set something up for another time. It may have to be after work some night but so be it.
So I now have time to sit here and practice typing on my new Apple keyboard and use this Mac system to do things. I can't do it on auto pilot like before. I have to think and you know how that can sometimes hurt. (using your brain is good for you but it can be frustrating at times) John was able to transfer a lot of my stuff from the PC onto the Mac but some things got lost or deleted in the process so I have been trying to re-enter things as I find them missing. So far I am batting 50-50 on that. But I am learning.
So instead of laying on a massage table I went to the bank and got 2 inexpensive cups of white chocolate raspberry mocha. I put them both into a big cup here at home and am really enjoying the moment. Had a chance to chat with a friend at the bank also. Hardly ever get to see her any more and her hubby is a good friend of John 11's.
Now think I will try to use the word processing and write a letter to my pen pal on this new system.
