Baby Talk
We met Hoi Hoong and Isaiah, Emma's cousin, for dinner on Sunday night. He loves to play with her and was thrilled when she started to show more interest in talking back!
Emma is becoming much more interactive these days. Besides smiling and twitching her nose in response, she also tries to talk. To everything - as long as they move.
Last Sunday at church, she was wide awake and enjoyed the worship session very much. Live music, after all! Since the music drowned her talking, it wasn't bad at all. But when everything quietened down, during the prayer and sermon, our Little Poppet continued talking. To Jade who was sitting next to us, to Enying who was sitting behind us, to some guy we didn't know on the other side. It wasn't really bad since she wasn't crying, but it was loud. And distracting. In the end, we had to bring her out and after she had finished saying all that she had to, she happily fell asleep. When we got back, the sermon was almost over. I don't think I've sat through a complete sermon in church since Emma arrived!
