Okay, not really. But there is a man sitting across the cafe from me who could easily be a 33year old Severus Snape (with curly hair). Sitting with a guy who could be a 47 year old Remus Lupin and a 14 year old brunette Dudley Dursley. Fun times. :-D Especially fun to see while I'm reading fanfiction (Caution and Passion by caprisonya).

My sister invited me to join her for half of her drive from Alaska to Alabama! I'm going to meet her in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and drive down to Birmingham, Alabama, USA with her. Sweet! I got to listen to the BBC World News on NPR today. It is interesting to me how much I enjoy the BBC news reports. Listening to them I feel like I am getting actual news - as opposed to one of the Seattle news stations who keep talking about how exciting the newest results on American Idol are. Sigh. Okay, so I'm not really much of a sports fan.  I enjoy the occasional soccer game and some rugby.  If I am invited to a sporting event I will have fun (I think it has more to do with the atmosphere than the sports itself) especially if the tickets were free - shame the cost of beer is so ridiculous.  That all being said, if I hear another person ( Read more... )

I've discovered a new tea to love.  The brand is Tea Vitale: The Leaf of Life.  The particular flavor I have fallen for is called Cocoa Cardamom Tango a black tea with, as is suggested in the title, black tea, chocolate chips, cardamom and cardamom seeds, and cinnamon.  A lovely chocolaty tea that makes me think strongly of Chai ( Read more... )
