As someone who just looked at a $1300! handcrafted bike made in England last week this article does resonate with me. In the past few months, J and I have finally gotten to the point in our lives where we aren't living paycheck to paycheck, and I can see how over the next year or so we will have established ourselves squarely in the middle class. You bring up good points regarding the socioeconomic diversity of the 99%. While it isn't the full story, its still hard to be the aggrieved party when weekly meal plans center around CSA's and J's state job provides what doctor's have literally referred to as the "Cadillac" of health care.
