I think she ended up coming out a bit more bitchy than I meant, chalk it up to PMS :-p

The more I see people hating on Janine, the more I want to write a fic where she and Nicholas are happy and getting married and have lots of sex and babies.

but...but what about danny? *lip tremble*

i personally find jeanine sympathetic in the film, but she suffers the wraith of slashers. and they don't set out to make her a bad guy either. its pretty common in romance fiction to make the competition for the hero's heart either a bitch or a total angel.

Oh, god. I have such a soft spot of fics with Nicholas and Janine, and I love this one so much!

I don't have much to say, other than that.

And that Nicholas' "Yes, he is," had me in tears.

Pretty and sweet and clever. I especially like how Nicholas and Danny don't need big speeches to know where they are.

This made me giggle and then go awwww... *L*

I don't think that Jeannine is actually a bitch (or that you actually portrayed her as being one), I just think she's way more 'high maintenance' than anyone involved with a career police officer can safely be. She needs someone who is strictly M-F, 9-5, and that is soooo not a police officer. She needs to find a nice... chemist or a banker. *LOL*

So very much enjoyed this! *big broad grin*
I saw it very clearly in my mind's eye; you did the action and the dialogue quite well.
VERY excellently done.
