i personally find jeanine sympathetic in the film, but she suffers the wraith of slashers. and they don't set out to make her a bad guy either. its pretty common in romance fiction to make the competition for the hero's heart either a bitch or a total angel.

Oh, they were both equally at fault, I think. And I have no idea why I'm drawn to these two, but something about them really makes me to write fic with them still together and not hating one another.
