so far
yesterday i got my first sigourney weaver (circa Alien 3) comparison. and while i don't really believe that i resemble her much, i'm gonna go ahead and take it as a compliment, considering the fact that it came from danny herrero, whom i know to be a big fan of that sort of thing (that sort of thing being movies like Alien 3).
my first ever naked lady park show experience was by and large a grand success. i was happy to be the only girl tough enough to run with Team Prescription in ultimate frisbee, i accepted my soaking in the water balloon fight, i cried per usual during the Apply Yourself! set (skinhead i may be, but i'm a freakin' softie for the music of paul baribeau - as sung by mills and lugo, of course), and i met some nice people. also had a very nice and relaxing time at diego's house, and riding around with everyone listening to the "best of miami radio". i have the most wonderful boyfriend and the most wonderful friends.
today consisted of staying up til 4 AM, sleeping in, being shocked by the liberal ways of my mother (i think she's slowly growing more accepting; i KNOW she knew i wasn't "sleeping at lindsey's", but she classily didn't let on that knowledge), lounging and having a good time procrastinating, and then finally going home. since then i have napped, watched tv, struggled to stay away from the non-vegan goodies in my house (somewhat unsuccessfully, i regret), taken a satisfying bath, and read more of Love in the Time of Cholera (which i recommend, but be prepared for it to be 'soapier' than you may have expected).
conclusion: weekends are always better when they begin on friday, and when tommy is home.
