(no subject)
ugh...it's about 1:40 AM...my taxi to the airport comes at 3:45. i didn't plan on going to bed anyway, but i just want to be at home in my fluffy bed...with my doggy.
after seeing footage of people stuck at the denver airport for 2 or 3 days, my life ain't so bad. i've been obsessively checking my flight status and everything seems to be going according to plan...so that's good.
i just feel icky. i should have gone to bed at like 8, but i didn't wake up this afternoon until 2. and the stupid thing is, i haven't touched my script for the show. if i just read it through once or twice every day i will be completely off book for all 3 acts when i get back. act 1 has been there for awhile, act 2 is on it's way, and act 3 just confuses me. it just takes work. i'm just lazy.
however even though i spent the last semester almost conistently in rehearsal for something or other, my grades turned out really well!
and now the annoying grade parade:
acting: B+ (amazing because i did little to no work in the actual class)
musical theatre: A-
stagecraft: A-
private voice: A
dialects: A
foundations of modern drama: A
science: A
so huzzah. my gpa remains where i like it. stagecraft can kiss my ass. that class conistently ruined my fridays and took away valuable nap times during the week. but yay for getting some form of an A in it! i don't know how i did on the last test, but i definately got a C on the first one...which is probably why it's an A-, because i sure got all 20 lab hours in (somehow), and mastered all 4 knots. but whatever. it's over. next semester i've only got 15 credits, my show closes in mid-february...it's gonna be great. but i need to get a job somehow. i'm conistently broke. this is what happens when you don't have a meal-plan. grrrr...
oh and ryan got me sims2 pets for christmas. it's AMAZING. sims2 is so superior to regular sims for so many reasons. he knows what i like....:)
ok...time to shower, fix up my room again and clean out the fridge. please oh please let everything go smoothly today...
