So the Washtenaw County Jail is one of the most unnerving places I've ever been in. I went there for a tour the other day -- last week -- and I'm still creeped out. Touring the place was like being stuck in a fish bowl -- there's glass and bars and all sides, and everyone just stares (and gestures) at you the entire time. I don't think Washtenaw County neccessarily needs a new jail, though. But I'm also not sure that the programs that I think should be implimented can be implimented without the millage passing. Anyway.
I have my interview with Dell next Friday. I leave Michigan on Monday (technically Tuesday morning, but I won't be in town after Monday morning). Then we'll be driving Tuesday, Wednesday and probably part of Thursday. I've also, in the last few days, applied to the American Cancer Society and some place that was looking for writers to create educational scripts to some kind of animations. That one doesn't sound like a long-term job, but whatever. They both sound interesting, and I'm pretty sure I'd be good for the jobs. Not much else has really excited me. So far, I've still been working, just not for pay, so I haven't really noticed the fact that I'm unemployed, although I'm sure that when the time comes that I should be getting a paycheck, I will notice.
The next two days I will be running around, mostly in Toledo, but I will be back Thursday and Friday night (not Saturday, though, sorry). I'm tired because I couldn't sleep last night for whatever reason... I'm hoping I'll be able to sleep tonight, but it's hard in this house.
Goodnight, ya'll.
