Yesterday, I bowled my highest score ever -- a 107. I also got a 98, which would be my third highest score ever (at the time, it was my second highest score ever). Of course, one of the games, I got, like, a 73... which would have been just about average for me, but everyone else got a 173 and so... it wasn't looking so hot. But I'm pretty proud of the 107.
Today, I saw a house -- like, a BIG house -- move down Main Street in Chelsea. This was a big event here. The house was not made to be moved, but the library is expanding, and so they moved this house. It was quite the process. They had to take down all the street lights on the route, and you should have seen this thing manuever its way around the railroad track's metal post things. Anyway, it was amazing to see what this town will do simply to expand its library.
Anyway, also, today, I'll be out at the barn helping out with the disabled kids... at some point today, I have to buy Mark a birthday gift. I think I'll go to the book store to do that... buy him a book on United States presidents or spiders or Salvadore Dali or something. This is tough. I also have to update my resume, wash my clothes, pack... I want to try to get to the mall. I don't know where I'm going to find the time to do all this.
Tomorrow, I will be in Austin. Temperatures are supposed to be in the 90s the entire time I'm there. Despite some sort of rumor I've heard going around, I will be coming back, guys. So no party yet (well, I'm partying). But, anyway, ANOTHER exciting thing is that this? Is going to be my first time on an airplane. Ever. My mom never took us on planes because she is scared of heights, and I never had the money to go anywhere once I was old enough to travel by myself -- I was always working. So... this is it!! I get to go fly!! I think it's hilarious how I've always wanted to learn how to fly a plane, never having been on a plane before. I hope I do not get lost at the airport -- this is a real possibility and I'm quite worried about it. I've never been inside the airport before, and I have gotten lost driving around it. If anyone has any tips for the airport/flight, please let me know. I was told my ears will only pop on the ascent and descent...
My week off work starts as soon as I finish a community page, a people page... and I should try to write this other feature, too... so much to do!!
