________
...in other words, I finsihed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night at 11:00. I came home and was at page 400 and from there read straight through until 759 stopping only to eat dinner and a quick bathroom trip. Other than that, I was all about Book 7. Before I get into how amazing this book is, I have to say that I am disappointed in myself for how long it took me to read. Normally, I would have finished some time on Saturday, but I had no time. I guess having a full-time job and a boyfriend will do that to you.
And now for the good stuff [without giving anything away, I promise!] this was the most amazing book of the series. The way everything was just tied up so well just made me happy--I love when things are explained and resolved, it's a beautiful thing. This woman is so ridiculously talented--I could never get such a brilliant idea in my head--it's crazy. I am so sad that it is now over. Although I am at peace with the ending, I will always want more even though deep down I know that any future books continuing Harry's life would be nothing in comparison to these seven books and would only taint the previous stories. I will be buying my own set to have forever to read and re-read to my children.
Good-bye Harry Potter books...it's been a good run we've had [1999-2007]
