Day 3: Shoulders and Arms, Ab Ripper X.
The first part of the workout actually wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I think I just need heavier weights. All I have right now are 5lb weights, so I'll try to get heavier ones soon. I learned that my biceps are actually pretty strong, but my triceps are hilariously nonexistent. There's actually a fair amount of pulling involved in bike riding when I go uphill (or maybe I'm just doing it wrong), so this doesn't really surprise me. My shoulders were somewhere in the middle.
Ab Ripper X is literally the worst. My quads have pretty much been in a state of agony since Saturday, so I could only do about half of it. Hopefully it'll be easier next week.
Tony Horton, I want to hang out with you. Let's grab a beer (or whatever the health food equivalent is... chia and flaxseed smoothie?) sometime.
Next up: Yoga! This video is insanely long. I'm kiiiiiiind of looking forward to it, but I know my legs are probably gonna give out about halfway through. Fingers crossed and hope for the best.
