Best weekend
Just what I needed - an amazing weekend.
Jess came to visit this weekend and we had the best time. She came early Saturday morning and we had breakfast at the Caf haha. Then we hopped on the subway and went to Yankee Stadium. It was FreeeZing but probably the best game I have seen there. Tino Martinez (my love) hit a homerun, for me, of course. The Yankees ended up winning, despite there deplorable team standing. Once we got back to Manhattan we hit up FIT's Block Party, which by the way is the first "college-like" thing I have done at FIT because they never do "college-like" fun things. And for the first time I got a free t-shirt from school, but does it even say FIT on it? No... piece of junk school lol. Anyway, Jess napped for 2 hours once we got back, and I of course pissed around the internet and watched the food network. Saturday we even had a good time. We ate at none other than Planet Hollywood. Haha! You must be thinking "Leah enter Times Square?" or "Leah at Planet Hollywood?" You're right... I was thinking that too! haha but we had a great meal there, and it was a lot of fun too. Expensive, but really enjoyable. Then we went for a walk because Jess has never been in the city walking around at night. She really liked that. We got back to my dorm and put in Family Guy... I passed ou even before my head hit the pillow! I was so tired! But Sunday we got up, ate breakfast at the Caf, and then headed to my favorite place. Herald Square shopping! We hit up Macy's and all those other unimportant stores. We basically just shopped all day. Then she had to go home, and now I miss her. But it's ok because I'll be visiting on Thursday so it's ok!
