Changin it up and the seasonal updates
Avoiding work this morning because last week and this week have been completely insane. This afternoon craziness will more than make up for my attempt to carve out a couple hours of sanity. So I was playing with my livejournal and switchin it up. Apparently there's like all these themes and new friends page layout and stuff that was probably new in 2009 but I never bothered changing anything until now. I like the theme stuff and I feel like my main page looks more... neat. But I tried to customize my friends page to kinda match (orange-y/autumn-y type of thing) but the friends page looks a bit more messy, in my opinion. But whatever, it's changed.
Other news...
Working too much at home and over the weekends- doing more presentations for my buildings and district-wide (especially related to RtI/MTSS* and AT*) plus all my regular job stuff which is super busy right now and has me totally stressed out.
We're doing Thanksgiving in Kzoo again this year. Last it went well (leaking ceiling aside) so I'm going to try my hand at the turkey and maybe some different recipes. Boy-ManFriend likes a lot of the traditional foods but if anyone has some favorite recipe suggestions, I'm open to trying different versions or sides....
I was really impressed by Ender's Game. I've never read the book, but the movie was... smart. I was surprised, Hollywood just loves dumbing stuff down and overusing stereotypes, especially when the main character is a child/teen. The way it handled social behavior/psychology in this movie was really impressive.
